How We Work
Discovery doesn’t end in the lab at Arbor. We tap into the potential of each member of the team to build our community. The Arbor team is a passionate and hardworking group of people, who thrive at the intersection of science and technology. We collaborate freely, listen curiously, and learn actively.
Our team members are our greatest resource, and we cultivate a supportive, safe, and fun environment at Arbor. We host biannual company retreats, organize monthly group outings, provide reimbursement for various methods of commuting, cater weekly team lunches, and provide comprehensive maternity and paternity leave policies, among other offerings. We also curate a series of monthly presentations called Arborize, designed to give our team members a chance to learn about the wide-ranging projects happening at Arbor.
How We Hire
We believe our job is to discover your capabilities, passions, and unique areas of expertise. We are looking for people who share our values, our commitment to scientific rigor, and our passion for driving innovation in biodiscovery. When you succeed, Arbor succeeds.
Our hiring process begins with a brief phone call so that we can learn more about your background and goals, as well as share more details with you about Arbor. The next step involves a visit to Arbor HQ in Cambridge to meet the team and visit our lab. We might also ask you to work alongside us in a variety of ways. For computational roles, potential employees might tackle a coding challenge. Research associates may undergo a lab practical. And candidates for more senior roles may have in-depth conversations with our leadership team or prepare a presentation for the Arbor community.
